Husband's jokes ruining our sex life?

my husband is a jokster and always makes comments about things. recently he's been joking more and more about me like how i've gained weight, how my butt looks big, i smell bad. it all sounds bad but he's usually joking it's just taken out of context here. anyways, the joking's gotten to far and now i just feel so ugly and unattractive that i dont even want to have sex. what should i do? i dont think i look that bad but my husband's running jokes make me feel really gross.
 
my husband does this all the time. it hurts so much. i can understand what you are going through right now. stop it at once or it will ruin your marriage. tell him gently that you dont find his jokes funny and its hurting you. dont lead him on. when he does that to me, i used to joke about him but he couldn't take it. but thankfully he has stopped making fun of me. hope it works for you too. good luck.

When he says something like that DON'T LAUGH. Let him finish being an a s s and laughing. Look at him with a straight face while he laughs and says this stuff. Then POINT BLANK, tell him how you feel. Say, "Look, I don't like that. When you say CRAP like that, it makes me feel worthless, unattractive, and NOT having sex with you....If you don't like what you have, maybe we should take some time off or separate, so that I can find someone who doesn't think I smell or that I am fat!" I GAURAUNTEE you WILL get a response of apology or you will get an "Ok".

Guys sometimes think that everything they say is the funniest damn thing. It's usually because we laugh... stop laughing and be serious.
 
He's hurting you and changed your self-image and yet you sound like you are defending him in your post. I don't understand. Joking with someone does not effect their self-image...uh...otherwise, you're doing it wrong.

Tell him to pick on someone else and stop taking his abuse. Furthermore, why should you give him the satisfaction of sex?! He certainly doesn't deserve it.
