My husband, who knows nothing about how the female cycle works, decided to question me on when a woman is the most fertile, how long sperm live, etc. I don't know where he got his info, but he informed me that everything I've learned and experienced is wrong. Ladies, let me correct you as my husband did... =)*All women ovulate the day after their period ends.*All women have a period of seven days.*If you want to get pregnant, you have to have sex every day for two weeks following your period (not a bad idea, but his reasoning behind it was...)*Your egg is viable for two weeks, so women are fertile for the two weeks following ovulation. No, we're not trying again, so I have no idea where this came from. But I thought you ladies would get a kick out of this. Anyone else have husbands with strange ideas about our cycles?

YOU MIGHT WANT TO HIT THE BOOKS IF MY HUSBAND ASKED ME THOSE QUESTION I WILL THINK HES UP TO SOMETHINGMEN COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THAT

I read your post and laughed so hard I nearly fell out of my chair. I think it is extremely funny that he told you that you were wrong even though you are woman who goes through it each month. I think most of us wish he was right about being fertile for two weeks. This would sure make getting pregnant a heck of a lot easier:). I also think that women would love to know that we all ovulate the day after our period ends, and that we all have periods for seven days,LOL. Thanks I really needed the laugh.

LOL! They are so crazy. My husband would rather I not tell him the details of how the female cycle works. That is funny...at least he is interested! Too funny!

My husband is a cop in a not-so-good area. I was trying to explain to him how hard it actually is to get pregnant, and how there is such a small window, etc. He didn't want to hear it. He thinks it's crazy that I take my bbt and chart and do all this crap. His reasoning? "You mean to tell me that all these teenage girls down where I work with 2 kids and one on the way just happen to be hitting the nookie lottery?"Yes, dear, pretty much:)Though you gotta admit....why do they have such an easy time when we're trying so damn hard?.....

My husband didn't know much about women's cycles, etc. However, for a man, he was very understanding and believed me when I told him something. When we wanted to have children, I read everything I could find, books, magazines, pamphlets. He never questioned what I told him and we have three wonderful children. We're not robots, every woman has a different system. My husband has his faults like I have mine but the day he tells me he knows more about my cycle than I do, it will also be the day men should have the babies. Unless your husband is a gynaecologist which I'm sure is not the case with all the ideas he has about the woman's cycle, I believe he should listen to you. It is truly hilarious though and thank you so much, we've been married for over 15 years, next time he does or says something that I find irritating, I'll remember your husband and I'll appreciate mine.
