I have been married for 3 years now and my hubby has now told me he wants to work in film. So he has started filming little things with friends and editing them and such for a hobby. And now he apparently got offered to go to NYC and Mexico to help work on a low budget film which will get his start of in the Business. Filming really makes him happy and I am glad he enjoys its. But I am afraid to know how long he will be from home. He says once he starts he will never be home cause when he is done one film he will want to hop to the next right away. But to my understanding when a film is being made their is pre-production which takes months before it is actually filmed maybe even years. So he believes once he gets off in the industry he will never ever be home and because he is working his way up the ladder, he can not drag his wife along plus it will cost money for me to go with him and just end up sitting who knows where while he does his thing. So if anyone that has worked or knows someone in the industry, really how their lives are and if they can still have a marriage. Cause by the sounds on it I am going to be along all the time by the way he thinks it will be. Any input would help.
