...for buying groceries? My husband spent 5+ years in school for his degree. We've been together for 4 years. We got married last year shortly after our daughter was born. Now all of a sudden right after we get married he puts himself back in school because he hates geology all of a sudden and wants a different course in life. It may take another 9+ years before he finishes and we are flat broke, in fact we are in debt. He gripes at me for spending $100 a week on groceries (we have to eat!), but sneaks to the bar to drink frequently.
He said that if I worked, we would live normally, but I don't have a degree and I'm afraid that the cost of child care wouldn't balance with my paycheck. He refuses to quit college though because he said getting a PHD is his dream. He was offered a labor job that would earn him over 100k a year but he keeps sticking his nose up at it. What am I supposed to do about this?
