He was saying that his neighbors leave their deer to hang to drain the blood, for a prolong amount of time, which is uneeded.... I processor my own deer and there are not to many ways to go about it...everyone may do it slightly diffrent but for the most part it the same. Since you do not clean ur own deer there would be no need for you to skin the deer yourself, though I am sure your family guts them before taking them to the local butcher.
Also it is very Disrespectful to your neighbors to not properly and quickly butcher your deer. We can and have butchered 8 deer in one night and i have been helping clean and process deer since i been around 5 or 6... when i was that little I got to bag them and squeeze the air out while mom washed the meat. Then I moved up to sliceing and cuting and washing. Then i moved up more. So i been doing it for awhile.
So i can properly clean fish, duck, geese, deers, doves, and most small woodlen creatures.
