Hunter x Hunter Manga Chapter 261+ (Spoilers)

I'm mainly talking about this shot. (and one other a few pages later) It's just very off-looking to me.

So, things seem to be heating up, with the fight against Yuppi, Morau encountering Pufu, and Netero and Zeno fighting the King.

Unfortunately, 270 was the last chapter before the series goes back on hiatus. But I think we can all hope that this hiatus is a lot shorter than the previous one. If Togashi has to take a month or two off in order to ensure the chapters he puts out are the best they can be, that's fine.

I look forward to seeing the conclusion of this arc.

Damn Togashi and his Dragon Quest addiction! Dragon Quest IV just had to come out for the RAB a few weeks ago, didn't it?

I wonder how long it'll take for him to beat it.

No, I'm joking.

It's a big running joke that all of the HxH hiatuses are due to Togashi spending all his time playing Dragon Quest, since apparently every hiatus has started around the time a new game has been released.

Ive already begun re-reading the entire manga again in preperation for the manga's return, im up to the dodgeball game with Razor in Greed Island.

The hiatus is over and a new chapter is out!

The battle against King starts; Gon and Killua jump towarRAB the tower Pitou is in; Shoot is getting badly wounded by Yupi but has managed to throw off his mental state by taking one of his eyes on his shoulder, and since Knuckle can't attack without revealing himself, he's forced to just stand there and he starts crying for Shoot; Ikarugo has managed to infiltrate the other ants, but the wolf and lobster ants are suspicious of him.

So Knuckle's revealed himself after ten seconRAB. Not good. Although Shoot would have died, I can't imagine what Knuckle would be able to do. Considering they've done nothing to Yupi thus far, I'm pretty worried. Hakoware isn't going to help at all either.

As for Gon and Killua, I can't imagine how exactly they're going to be able to handle Neferpitou. I doubt we'll see much of their fight these ten chapters, but hopefully we get a good amount of information. The foreshadowing on both Gon and Killua is freaking me out a bit, and there's actually a good chance that they might die.

Next week, maybe we'll see what's up with Morel and Pufu. Pufu's frantic state to get to the king should greatly amp up his power. Considering Morel's fought both Cheetoh and Leol over the past two days, I definitely think he'll die this battle. He's had a good run though.

I think it's interesting. Considering how fast everything is happening, it would be impractical for characters to be able to think and speak so quickly.

Sorry for the double post, but I felt it necessary to revive the topic due to the new chapter's release.

Now I'm really anxious. Zeno's leave of the palace suggests only bad times are ahead. However, Gon and Killua vs. Neferpitou begins. What will they do with Komugi? I hope she doesn't get killed in the crossfire.

Pufu's cocoon suggests he's got another transformation coming--he isn't going to hold back to reach the King. Considering Cheetoh's looking for Morel as well, it's bad news bears. Also, although Werefin has gone, Brouda is still on Icargot's tail.

Things are unfolding slowly, but it's only to increase the tension. This is the series I look forward to reading the most every week.

Well, from this chapter, we get some really surprising reactions from Gon. I think this is the most angry he's been in the entire series. Concerning the one hour delay of the fight... only about a minute has passed in the actual story. One must wonder exactly how long this hour is going to take. This may even beat the DBZ anime's legendary "five minutes".

Also,
This page made me laugh so damn hard...

So quite a bit has happened in the last few chapters. Gon's gone into a fury that has made him the antithesis of what he originally stood for. In fact, he's so upset that he doesn't care about a dying innocent person. Even Zeno Zoldyck, a professional killer, wouldn't want that to happen. Gon's got to learn that the dead can't come back to life, and Kite has to stay dead in order for that to happen. He's acting like a spoiled brat (with good reason), but it's getting ahead of his own judgment.

On Knuckle and Shoot's side, Yupi turns out to be smarter than everyone thought. Coupled with his nen ability to literally explode with anger, it's obvious that these guys bit off more than they could chew.

Also, Cheetu dies in a very Hunter x Hunter fashion. I totally assumed that we would see his new ability, but Silva came down and squashed him without a problem. I'd have to admit, I couldn't have predicted any of this occurring.
