Human "Superheroes" are kinda lame.

once again... superhuman powers would have to be real. Batman is the shit because it seems almost plausible. He is a "superhero" that people can relate to. Thats why in the movie they bring up the whole thing where regular dudes off the street start dressing up like him.
 
yes, superheros are cool because of features like.... being totally unstoppable save for when someone has a piece of greenish fucking rock.

when the heroes are human, they are more vulnerable, and they have limitations. they are more likely to die, because one cant simply say, "LOL MAN OF STEEL BULLETS DONT HURT HIM OH ALSO HE CAN DO EVERYTHING ELSE TOO LOL"

and thats why their feats of heroism are more impressive than when an alien beats up another alien.
 
There is an entire book called "Tower of Babel" that talks about how Batman has devised ways to defeat every other member of the Justice League, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, all the people with awesome powers. Naturally when the other superheroes learn about this they're all kind of pissed off at Batman.
 
Mother Nature backs down to Superman, I'm sure he could beat Batman no matter what plan Batman comes up with. I think Superman's problem is he's always trying to be the hostage negotiater and appeal to the bad guy's conscience. You can stop Superman if he was evil, but how many planets would he wreck before you did?
 
I like Batman because he's not the typical superhero of "I must save all and not kill the bad guys." Batman will at least allow bad guys to die.
