I saw the local Humane Society was looking for volunteers. I'm in college and I miss having my own dog around. I like animals and dog/cat-sit for people around my hometown when I'm home. I realize the work isn't all fun and would probably be a lot of cleaning; but it would still be fun to be around animals.
I'm also looking for things to add on my resume for volunteer work experience and a variety of activities. I'm a recreation and tourism major. Would working with animals be something good to add to my resume?
