...American Society..............? hey guys i need help with a essay.
The topic is this : consider Huck's judgments , then discuss how Twain illustrates the lack of American Society to accept those who are "different

for the essay topic i thought of:
-huck was bout to turn jim in because thinks that jim should return to his owner but he changed his mind after he became better friends with jim

but i got stuck and couldn't think of more ideas, can you guys help me please?

Your "turning in Jim idea" is really solid
There are many instances where Huck feels this...at first when Huck sees Jim on Jackson Island, he really wants to turn Jim in...but while Huck and Jim sail down the Mississippi they become better friends, and when Huck is given another chance to turn him in: i'm talking about when the white men ask Huck if there is a black man with him. However, Huck says that he doesn't have a black man with him, despite the fact that Jim was like, right there.

If the topic of your paper is society and how society treats minorities differently...add the section when the river is really dreary and Jim and Huck become separated...not the part where the Huck meets the Grangerfords!!!...eventually, Jim and Huck are together again, and Huck says that Jim had been dreaming...this part shows how, despite the fact that Jim and Huck are in the same situation...Huck still feels superior to Jim

If you arder the parts I mentioned in chronological order you can show not only society and it's effects, but also the character development of Huck Finn...Good Luck Champ!
