hub had motor bike accident 8 yrs ago.he was told at the time he could not claim

comp, but we ave police repor? and it says that it was a hit and run. he has lost mobility in his left arm and has had his spleen removed and is on medication for life. do you think we would be able to claim comensation now. thanks
 
No - you only have a certain period in years to make a claim - I think it is 3 but may be corrected BUT it certainly would not be a valid claim after 8 years.
 
I don't know if there is a time limit, but you could try getting advice from your local citizens advice bureau, or ring a solicitor, some have a 15 minute free consultation. Or you could try the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board (if you are in UK). I'll try and put a link on
