HUAWEI E5830 Unlock *HERE*

How do you know where to find the unlock code in all that text?
Make up a procedure like how to find the unlock code in the E220 or the Maxon BP3USB.

I suggest you get the uploaders to zip up their txt file, goes from 760KB to about 38KB, easier to upload & download.

I am very much in need of some help …..

I applied Zibri's tool to my new E5830 from Three (UK) (having first applied the Brightpoint firmware to get access to APNs, SSIDs etc), and it completed successfully.

However, replacing the sim with any other does not work - red light on the Signal LED and no connection.

Using PSAS to examine the EFS file confirms that there is a block of zeros following the "32 ... 49" block. Applying 00000000 using the Virgin unlock tool gives a result which varies depending on the sim inserted -
- with the original sim it reports the unit is already unlocked
- with any other sim I get the message "Unlock failed: Unlock code not correct! Left times: 0"

How screwed am I?? Anyone have any ideas?

About the sim card, I did unlocking with a vodafone card rather than the original one, but I think as long as you've got a channel to input the unlock code, the sim card question doesn't bother at all.

Now, i quite expect that you can make a little programme to properly sort out the ******* e5830. don't forget to send me one, ... Thanks again, my friend!
 
It's not a text file
It's binary.. and no need to zip it.

I'm coding a utility to do the job anyhow. I hate using qmat.
 
No need... redownload the program.
Now it works.

And by the way.. your card *IS* unlocked.

Hey Mr. Zibri, it say in your blog to type the title of the blog on the same date the software indicates. i did so but no button shows. how do i do it?
 
Ok , forget about the file . Why you don't wanna tell me how to find the code in hex editor or other way ? I want to know the method

ive tried everything on my mifi dongle to unlock and it doesnt work, kinda giving up, i tried that 1 were u enter the number then success! get no unlock button come up, help is need pleasse
