what are some good websites to learn how to use HTML? I know some simple tags and such, but I want to be able to make a really good myspace page for my band, and it would be cool if I did it from scratch.

Also, is there a program that is like Notepad but for mac? (dont tell me Textedit, it is very different.)

w3C <www.w3.org/> is a good place to start. Here you'll find most examples of HTML code you can use to design your page. You could try Notepad++, its excellent choice for programming for web plus its free. Although I'm not it works on MAC.
