html or php programming?

hey guys ive been programming in c++ for a while and am doing fine with it (rlly want to learn more but i need someone to give me a good tutorial or personal teaching) and i was wondering myb i should learn PHP or HTML for website developing! so i was wondering if i thought of learning to program using either which should i learn and what software? i have a macbook running Mac OS 10.5.6
