On myspace, the text area code doesn't seem to work.
I don't know if it's my browser, FireFox//Opera, or what.

Does anybody know what's wrong?
Or is there any alternatives to use?

Glad to help if we can elaborate more clearly. Let me assume two scenarios:

First:
You want to put "textarea" tag into myspace. That will not work logically even if the "textarea" show up in the page. You are not hosting Myspace and hence you are not going to get data from the user. Your page is hosted by Myspace.

Second:
You might be referring that your code is not working when you put into the textarea in myspace, when you edit your profile. In that case, you will have to elaborate what you actually put or in the textarea or describe it...
