HTML coding on myspace?

when you make a new myspace profile it goes to the 2.0 version
all you need to do is go to my account and click on Miscellaneous and there you have some options
also if you want the old editor then you would have to go back to 1.0 profile
just click on edit profile & in your right side theres a link that says customize my profile
click on that and in the very top it says go back to 1.0 myspace

I just signed up for a new profile on myspace, and they profile editor is all different and im not allowed to use html coding. is there a way that i can either use the old profile editor, or set it up so i could use html?
it doesn't give me the option to go back to profile 1.0.....that's the problem im running into.
and i tried pasting codes in the css section....but it didnt work out very well.
