HTML: Automatically updating date is an hour ahead?

I have found HTML script that means that the current date is always displayed on my website; however for some reason it is an hour ahead of our time (British Winter Time) and the same applies to the time if I chose to display that.

Does anyone know if there are any additions that need to be applied to the HTML script used in order to indicate which time etc is being used? Also when the clocks change does this need to be re-set?
 
I think you mean javascript.

this bit of js tells the time and date

<SCRIPT>
document.write(Date()+".")
</SCRIPT>

any script you get will read the time from your system clock so maybe its that thats not been set to daylight saving time.
