HTC Weather Widget Error

I have seen that a lot of people are having this problem, but nobody seems to know how to fix it.

Every since to update, the HTC weather app/widget doesn't work. Every time I try to use it, it creates an error and forces close and restarts phone.

Does anyone know a fix to this? Please help!

Try clearing the Weather widget's data. Do this by going to Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> Weather provider -> Clear data.

Come back and let us know if this fixes it.
 
Thank you for the try. I found this suggestion when searching for fixes. This didn't fix it. As a matter of fact, it was a big inconvenience. It deleated all of my screen settings and I had to redo all of my pages. I have a few folders with a ton of items in them, so it took awhile. I have tried uninstalling Taskiller and clearing some calendar from other suggestions to no avail. Thank you again for trying!!!
 
Clearing the Weather provider data shouldn't have affected any of your screen settings. Assuming you didn't clear the data from somewhere else like the Sense app, it sounds like something else is up here.

I hate to resort to this, or advise it, but maybe a factory reset?
