HTC Legend vs IPHONE 3GS

I have it narrowed done to just two handset know. This will be my first smartphone and will do mainly surfing; online banking, general reading of forums and articles. I do not text message ever; some utube but not alot and the odd song. Any suggestions which way to go, I am not sure if the HTC has access to as many applications as the IPHONE. Also with flash being part of the HTC will this drive up data usage?
 
The HTC doesn't have as much apps as the iPhone but it still has much more than way enough.

I prefer the Legend if you're talking about uniqueness, looks, and the striking aura it gives you when you're using the phone.

But if your bank only has the app you need for the Iphone, you have to consider that too.

Flash lite won't drive up the data usage by itself. Its no different from the Iphone. You watch video, you use more data. Simple as that.
 
I'd take the Legend personally, but it depends on how simple you want the phone to be. Anything Android lends to more tweaking and customizing; iPhones simply work.
