HTC Incredible, Droid X, or ?

I'm looking at getting my first smartphone but I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for. Right now I'm considering the Incredible or the X. Obviously I'm on Verizon. I can't imagine ever using much for apps, erased my Facebook account, don't want to synch email (prefer to use web-based so I'm looking for wi-fi connectivity), don't upload YouTube videos, etc. After having a horrible experience with the LG Dare I'm leery of touchscreen only phones but have played around with both the Incredible and the X a little and they're obviously much improved. I was looking at the Droid 2 but it seems to have more complaints than the HTC or the X. So, what would I be happy with???

All three are great. Droid 2 does have Verizon's historical record of a smartphone with the lowest return rate ever. Other surveys put the Droid 2 and Droid X neck to neck as among the most satisfying Androids out there, along with the HTC EVO and ahead of the Droid Incredible.

The Droid Incredible is one heck of a phone too, with one great UI, but the battery life drags it down against the Droid 2 and Droid X. The DI's body build isn't as cool or solid looking as the Droid 2 and Droid X, though the screen seems more brilliant vs the D2 and DX. On the other hand the D2 and DX both look sharper.

Interesting. Reason I was shying away from the Droid 2 is it seems to get lower reviews than the X and the Incredible on both cnet's and Verizon's sites.

As far as battery life on any of them, I do recognize that a smartphone will drain a battery quicker than a "dumb" phone and was planning on getting an extended battery for whichever phone I end up choosing.
