HTC HD2 Tmobile 3G problems.?

Ok so i had a g1 and i got 3G network all the time now that i have a htc hd2 i barely ever get 3G im still in the same area and all. I went to tmobile they updated my sim card but no change. Any info is appreciated. Kind of sucks to spend so much on a phone then have weak service. Thanks again.
