I'm looking to buy a new smartphone. I'm currently with Mobilicity (I live in Canada) and I'm looking at phones selling for cheap on ebay. I came across the HTC Google Nexus One. It has good reviews and I'm interested in buying it. It is unlocked and this is what is says for the frequency:
2G Network
Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 1700 / 2100
HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - for AT&T, Rogers Wireless
On the Mobilicity website it says: "Our network uses a frequency called AWS, with bands 1700/2100."
I am not much of a techie so i have no idea what AWS is..or what these numbers even mean... I just want to know if this phone will work with Mobilicity!
Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
