HTC EVO 3D sleep issues?

Ok i got my EVO 3D 2 days ago and my battery dies by noon. I have stopped all my apps and turned everything down or off. When i go to MENU<SETTINGS<ABOUT PHONE<BATTERY it shows what your level and stuff is. There is a section that says "up time" and "awake time" appartenly they are supposed to reset every time you lock your phone and mine isnt therefore my phone isnt really sleeping when its supposed to be in sleep mode and uses alot of power. Ive rebooted but nothing changed. I dont know what else to do.
 
try pushing the button at the top to make the screen go off. i have the evo 4g and they battery is not that good my battery sometime will last till 1 maybe longer depending on how much i had use it that day. if you want more battery life the best thing to do is get a extended battery.i also got me an extended battery with that my phone would stay charge until maybe 9-10pm so that was good. the only thin i didn't like was the fact i couldn't find a case to fit it. i love bling out phone case,girly cases etc etc.,but could never find one.
