The Moto Droid and Droid Eris have gotten cheaper recently. They won't eliminate the phone completely.

I have a droid eris and I don't even know how to take the battery out. My screen is black, the only thing that is lighting up is the roller ball. Help!

I have had my HTC Droid for a little over a month now and I would not recommend this phone to anyone. Is anyone else having the following issues?
HELP!!!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
- Not able to delete text messages
- Not able to answer all incoming calls
- Phone slow to respond when opening applications
- Text message application showing error messages
- Phone slow to making outgoing calls
- Phone non-responsive to touch screen
