HSDPA GSM Phone with Decent Web Browser?

Hi all,

I am looking for a phone that is HSDPA capable, obviously with a good web browser. I know there aren't that many out there so I am open to suggestions, although I am not a fan of the TyTn so we can rule that out now. Also, I will be able to take full advantage of HSDPA on Cingular/AT&T's 3G network, right?

Well I like Symbian, and S60 is nice. Palm is okay, that's what I have now. I don't really have any preferences with style, either. My taste is difficult to put down on paper. Basically, it has to be fast and needs a great browser.

Nokia E90 would have an awesome browser plus its internal display is massive widescreen. Except it's expensive right now, so dont know if your comfortable spending that much. There's Nokia 6110 also I believe which has HSDPA capability.
There's Moto Qh as well, and the upcoming I-mate's and ETEN X800 will also have HSDPA capability. (Opera Web browser is pretty neat on WinMo devices)
Are you looking to purchase now or soon?

I would absolutely love an E90. Where can I find them available besides eBay? I know they are outrageously expensive.

Now that we're talking about it, I realize that there are platforms out there that I dislike, one of them being Windows Mobile. I have never really liked using a device that runs on Windows Mobile, so I guess that rules a lot of them out.

I am looking to pick something up ASAP. I would like to have it by the beginning of August.

If your willing to spend money, you cant go wrong with E90, has Wifi, 3.2mp cam with flash/AF, massive LCD and looks very executive and has Symbian OS, which you seem to prefer
I personally havent used E90, but have played around with N73, another Symbian phone and I found Symbian to be relatively easy to use plus featured packed.

Will the HSDPA of E90 work on Cingular? Doesn't HSDPA work on top of UMTS?
E90's UMTS 2100 will not work on Cingular's UMTS 1900.

The only Nokia phone that supports UMTS 1900 is N75 but it doesn't have HSDPA.

Even if the phone says 800/900/1800/1900 Mhz & HSDPA?
I was looking on ebay and some say this as their specifications... I really want one but it needs to be compatible with my cingular network here.

A lot of 3G phones say 800/900/1800/1900/UMTS (or WCMDA)
The 800/900/1800/1900 are for GSM band only.
In those phones, we can probably bet it's UMTS 2100 unless it's a North America marketed phone.

I believe HSPDA runs on UMTS (like EDGE runs on GPRS), someone correct if I'm wrong, so if it just says HSDPA, I will also bet it's HSDPA 2100 unless it's a N America phone.

2100-only is the most common, and can be assumed by default. Unless it specifically tags the 3G capability (referred to as HSDPA or WCDMA, slightly stale UMTS) as being "triband" or "850/1900/2100", it's not what you want for use on Cingular (or Rogers/Fido here in Canada).

There are a very few that are North American only, such as the BlackJack (850/1900).

so do you guys know about the e90? is it umts 2100 only? does this affect reception? also do you know of any plans for the e90 to come to america?

I would love either I need a good sip/iax compatible phone with long battery life. which one should i go with? do either support sip or iax?

cant a 3g phone with UTMS be flashed to have HSDPA? i would think the hardware is there, its just a software upgrade by the manufacturer.
