HS20 perfect with the E61

Just bought the HS-20 headset, and let me tell you its music bliss!

It has everything you need for a proper music player. Change track, volume, pause, play and everything work even on the standby screen and when the keypad is locked.

Even my sony network walkman's headset doesn't support this much. Is this great or what?
 
It's a whole lot better than the Ad49.

The Ad 49 only has the call button and doesn't come with the in ear earphones.

As I've already said, the HS20 comes with a navigation key that has play, pause, stop, next track, previous track, volume controls and a hold switch.

It works perfectly with the built in music player even when it's running in the background. LCG Jukebox works nicely as well, but only when its in the foreground.

A nice touch is a small pop-up that appears when you change/stop/pause/play a track while the music player is in the background.

Its a little pricey, but worth it.

i just got this at the start of the week, i didn't like the ear phone through raplaced them song ones, great headset 2, so much better than my last one, i had to order it from ebay since no one in australia sell it here, and got here really quick which was qood since my hs-23 broke, so yeah
 
I have a pair of Seinheiser's as well and they sound awesome. The problem is they dont have the lanyardish design of the Nokia earphone and the cable becomes a tad too long.
 
If the music player is in the backrground (keypad locked, screensaver, whatever) and stopped can you (re)start it with the remote control? I can't on the N80.
 
Its the AD-41 you are raving about. Its the adapter portion with the music controls. The HS-20 (the actual headphone set) was a horrible piece of garbage I quickly threw away.

BTW, it can control my dad's N73 while the keys are locked.
 
You are right. I was raving about the Ad-41 and the actual earphone is absolute crap. I'm using my Seinnheser CX300 with it and the difference is staggering.

Odd that it won't work with the player stopped on the N80 as it works flawlessly on my E61.
 
same here man, i was just about to go for a walk tried them out and i'm they so so sux so after that got some sony ones to replace them now its all good.
