Since when is $141 billion "a couple hundred extra dollars"? Lemme guess, you are dividing by 305 million people in America ... which includes children and people like you who don't pay shit in taxes for over 2 years.

When you divide it by ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING TAXES, it is much more that "a couple hundred".

The fuck is wrong with these politicians, seriously. We are barely recovering from one of the most horrific recessions in US history. The job market is shit. The economy is recovering at a snail like pace, and things don't seem to be getting any better. This is nrabroad

We need help and we need it now. By next week the number of unemployed that lose their benefits will cross over the 1 million mark, and will grow larger and larger as each week passes by. These are hard working people that lost their jobs at no fault of their own, me included, these are people that have families to support, bills to pay, rent/mortgage payments etc. It's fucking ridiculous, these politicians are playing a game with the unemployed's livelihood.

Let's see, we can spend billions fighting a war against a made up enemy, send a few billion to Haiti to help a worthless country that has never done anything for us, and bail out the Greeks with money that we don't even have...

BUT we can't help our own, it's too expensive.

FYI - The bill did nrabroad
include additional weeks to the 99 week limit of benefits, but rather let eligible claimants continue to collect benefits on their current tier of benefits and move freely to the next without any interruption until the end of November of this year. So basically the bill is giving them what they should already be entitled to.
 
What does the state think about you claiming $15000 in income on your taxes in addition to your unemployment benefits?

Go re-read the Unemployment Guide Book, it gives you a list of forms of income that need to be reported while you are on unemployment, and nowhere on that list is anything about gambling winnings/income.

I did the calculations and based off a typical person making $40K annually, their cost would be $231.00, which they probably wouldn't nrabroad
