My HD personal media drive isnt reading. I have tried connecting it to my laptop with the wires it came with and also tried it in My desktop computer in the bay designed specially for the drive. in both computers a message comes up saying USB device not recognized. i have used the drive on both computers before. The blue power light comes on and the orange light is flashing when its connected. Does anyone know how to fix the problem or do i need to get a new one? all my pictures of my kids are on there since they were born.
