how's life?

:( sorry to hear that. expect him back any time? have you had much contact? how long has it been?

now, you already know my anti-support of all the war and fighting and invasion and shit, but also know that i support all the folks over there and hope everyone gets home ok with minimal consequence. not a one of them ordered this situation; that came from some suits who are still hiding in their mansions and limousines. :(

he signed up to join the army the day we went to war with iraq. he knew he was going over there. We are doing a lot of good over there. It has been 10 months since he left for basic on august 8th, two weeks after basic he went to fort carson for more training with his unit... then febuary they left for Iraq.

in the two weeks that he was at home. we got married, found a place to live in... and everything... i moved all our stuff together and here while he was gone. Our wedding was a cort housr room, two strangers and i went to work.

Great huh?

we was suppose to get married this may, the 22nd... didn't happen...

but despite the oddly changed plans, you're still moving forward. and that's the good part. when he comes home, you'll be able to pick up where you left off, y'kno?

i was being quite general; it's never as simple as a sentence, you know what i'm saying?

my girlfriend will be moving 400 miles to be living with me. we're essentially making a very bad, stressful decision but we can't take the distance anymore so she opted to transfer out of her current school in southern california to come up to northern california and take a hit in the prestige her degree will carry.

and to be honest, while i can put food on the table, that's about all i can do at this point. with my training, i can't get a higher-than-average paying job. even when i'm done with grad school it'll be the same. teaching isn't as lucrative as i would have hoped. ok, done with life stories now. the point was just that it is always harder, less straightforward, and more technical than it looks :(

ahh you need to read a few more of my post first

jesse came from seattle to south dakota to be with me when i was 16, stressful he was moving in with me, with my parents. Jesse he came off the streets out a shitty home, drugs, drinking, no ged, driver lincess job or anything... basically a lot faith and a lot of hope.

Ahhhh

we been through a lot already

good and bad...

hey wasup, haven't seem to find time here in a couple days, yesterday I went dirtbiking with dad, bro, some friends...fun stuff...only crashed once, and once had the dirtbike flip over on top of me while going up hill...damn rocks...I actually got the bike to go sideways a bit before landing on me, but my wrist took the beating mostly, feels like I broke my thumb or something, then it was 4 hours of sleep and then 8 hours of work, what a day

morelos-u figured out how I can fix my usb2.0 prob? I'll more likely try anything to get it to work, even if I have to take it all apart again

good luck with the iraq thing, I hate war and violence all out, but I know they didn't really have a choice to be there, unless they wanted to...I just hope all those alqaida stop with the random car bombings and shit, it's not really helping the situation

there is no evidence of al qaeda's presence in iraq. it's the iraqi resistance that's attacking. saddam loyalists, 'radical militant groups' who want their share of representation under the new government, and other anti-american groups.

i think you should do what i did, seije - go buy a new computer that has usb2.0 built in. it's way fucking easier :(

wish I could, but I don't have the money for a new one...this one is actually pretty great and it does everything I want it to...it's just the upgrades are hard to work with, maybe I shouldn't be trying to make it better, lol

if it's not broke, don't fix it
if it's great, leave it alone
