Howdy! My 1994 Honda Accord won't start. It's been sitting for some months and Nick says that that is the reason that it won't start. He says that the spark is dispersed and won't start the engine. I tried to start it. First, I pulled off a spark plug wire ,inserted a paper clip and held it next to the engine to test for spark. I saw some spark. So, I thought that it was the fuel. But,I disconnected the line going to the engine and there was fuel pressure. The engine cranks. I sprayed in some starting fluid in the intake and it revved up for for two seconds and then died.I got a new battery too. Nick said that there was not enough spark. He said that it was electrical. He pulled off a plug wire and stuck a screw driver in to it and then set the screwdriver to the engine body for spark. I cranked it and it started right up. then I drove it home. I tried to reproduce his feat but it still would not start. Does someone have a solution? or a diagnosis? thanks
