Those of you who have read the poetry I posted on the site, How would you rate me as a poet? Always been curious what people think after reading my poems of me as a poet.
I write for myself but I was curious what others thought of my writing.

I know poetry is subjective but I think the artistic quality of the writing isn't as subjective.

I think there are tangible ratable qualities in a poet's writing that makes him better or worst.

In any event, just asked to appease my curiosity. I think i'm almost at a professional writing level, but that is just my opinion. lol

I'm actually planning on writing a poem idea I thought of, perhaps you will see it sooner or later today.
 
U can't really rate poems. But u can ask people for their opinions on it. Just keep on writing and I'm sure you will get better and better
 
Adam is correct. Poetry is subject to interpretation. What one person might read and understand from your poetry another might not and likewise. I read your poetry on an almost consistent basis and I believe you to be a good poet. What others think of you as a poet isn't nearly as important as what you think of yourself as a poet. This stretches further to what you think of yourself as a person. From your poetry, I can deduce that you are a good person with a good heart who cares for others, a bit humorous, an an intellectual mind. But since you ask, for the mere enjoyment of this question:

Hope that is good enough for you. Although, this number may increase based upon how good recent poems are.


Also, it might decrease if you do not continue to show me good work mister lol.

Dude. Poetry is subject to interpretation. Some people will get it, and some people wont. Some people will like it, and some people wont. No matter what others say, you can still be a good poet.
