How would you judge me politically by society?

I am 25 years old. I am out on my own and do not have family to turn to. I was laid off in April. In that time I still have not found work though I try almost everyday. I have survived off of my meager savings and my unemployment insurance. My unemployment is running out and my savings are gone. I have exhausted my credit. I am now considering applying for food stamps and other forms of welfare.
So question? Am I a bad person? Am I one of those 'leeches' that just doesn't "want" to work? Or should I be homeless and sleep at the airport just so someone rich doesn't have to pay taxes that go towards a social safety net?
I never stated who I voted for.

You wouldn't be the way you are if you hadn't elected a man who just put the Bush policies on steroids... YES Obama=BAD Bush in 2006-2008 on steroids.

Since you are on the internet, I'm guessing you still posses a few other luxuries as well

Due to such, I'll take this as a hypothetical, we are not advocating no social nets, the poor in the US don't starve to death, the poor in the US still drive cars, still have the internet, still have tv, and still have food, and this is even with our current system.

I'm out of a job as well, you keep looking until you find one, until then as you said, you are already taking the steps to keep your basic necessities going, if you are looking for a job you will find one.

If you want to advance yourself to increase your attractiveness to business, you can join the military, you can get grants from the government to further your education, you can learn a new skill in a trade school, you have more option than you believe.

If your job can be easily done by a high school student, then you need to invest into a useful skill or gain higher education degree.
