engine in when they were drunk? I needed a cheap but reliable car and my then mechanic boyfriend told me his boss had one. I trusted my boyfriend so didn't ask a lot of questions and pretty much bought it on his word. After a few miles on it it started to idle weirdly and I questioned him about it. At that point he admitted to me they put the engine in when they had been on a drunken binge and bypassed things when they installed it. I know I did not pay a lot for the car, but I feel betrayed that he led me to a car that had potential for problems (which it does). He does not feel he did anything wrong. Am I over reacting or would you be pissed too?
