How would you express 'hope' in an image?

i have a school project....looking for a simple enough image i can draw that expresses hope? its a project on how America is seeen by me, on of the things i tried was 'hope'. others are strength and freedom....if i could get hope on those too it would be great!
i have to be able to draw it
 
There are lots of images out there about American troops overseas.
There's one going around showing an aerial view of hundreds of people forming an American flag. Strength and freedom shouldn't be too hard to find. If I were looking for 'hope' I think I'd try to find the face of a child with an expectant expression. Try some photo image sites.
