University? I'm thinking about studying abroad in Norway as a Photography major at the University of Oslo, but I want to know something that the websites can't seem to tell me. Can you tell me a bit about the students and the city?
If you don't know where to start: What sort of demographic would you say most of the students fall into? I know that Norway is a country that is financially well off; are they all stuck-up rich kids? Is it like American universities where everyone just wants to get drunk all of the time? Is their a lot of diversity in their student population in terms of "types" of people? What are some interests or hobbies that seem pretty popular?
If I had to give myself a stereotype, I guess I'd be some sort of hipster, a modern-hippy, or a bit indie. I tend to ride a bike, drink a lot of tea, perform spoken word poetry, and spend a lot of time with my film in the darkroom. I try and be environmentally and socially responsible, and I'm not much of a drinker. Do you think I'd like Oslo?
