Hahahaaa, yea so I know it sounds kinda lame, but whatever I don't really care. I'm not a huge gaming nerd, although I do appreciate the good gaming experience every now and again, and I came to thinking of the process of how they actually get all the concepts for these games? Then I came to think of my own little game concept, and I began to wonder if there was a way for normal people not in the big gaming industries staff to somehow submit their ideas for a game to developers?
I mean, normal people can submit their ideas for movies to producers can they not? So why couldn't normal people submit their ideas for a video game to developers? Now I've searched the web for how one could go about doing this, and there seemed to be only two good ways of doing such. First would be getting a job with a gaming company and submit the idea from inside, or began your own production on your game idea, submit it as an indie game, and cross your fingers that a big gaming industry will like your idea and either pick it up or fund your project.
But seeing as how I don't have a bunch of friends who are designers and programmers, it seems fairly hard to start my own producation on an indie game, and I doubt the likelyhood of my getting a position with a gaming industry at this specific point in my life. So I was wondering, is there any other way I could go about in doing this?
Thanks to all in advance.
