how would i go about making my jeep wrangler run on veggie oil?

You need to do an engine swap. It will be very expensive. It will require a lot of custom machine work to adapt a diesel to your transmission and transfer case. Vegetable oil cost twice as much as diesel fuel and requires a separate tank to heat the oil before you can burn it. It is a waste of time. You are looking at a minimum of $4000 to do the conversion.

Yep not worth find an old vw or something, def not worth the investment for a jeep

you need a diesel engine, and you need to refine the veggie oil to get certain chemicals out of it. it can run on straight veggie oil, but it will clog up certain parts. i'm not aware of the specifics, you can get more info in the "alternative fuels" section of yahoo answers.

and as i said before, it will never work with a gasoline engine, not enough compression. you need a diesel engine.

and yea, i'd personally sell the jeep, and get a GOOD SUV with a diesel engine.
