i have a 92' eclipse and it over heated on me i tried putting water and it didn't work and it shut off on me now it won't start should i try and get a new engine or should i get headers and a cold air intake ?

well it sounds like maybe the radiator is bad, or water pump or the thermostat. Or if your engine is cracked then you should just buy a new engine. dont bother trying to fix it. Not worth it.

a new engine or an intake and some headers is A HUGE difference. . . lol. i would go with the cheaper of the 2 if it works.

Get the new engine, or just have the engine you have fixed. Besides they don't sell a cold air intake for a N/A Eclipse, and you COULD get headers, but you can only have ONE header on the car at a time, it's an in-line four cylinder. So buying headers (plural) would be a waste even if it did run.
