there are 77 babys being studied(no names given)
four diff. groups
lets say the four groups are red, green, yellow, and blue
there are 20 in red and 19 in green, yellow, and blue
if i was making a random sample for each color how would i set it up?
where i'm at: i'm lost because i don't know if i should set up numbers 1-77(as if they were names) and pick the first 20 randomly for red, then pick 19 out of the remaining 57 for green etc. would that truly be random?
**this is for statistics i have to select them in a certain way for it to be truly random. thanks for you help
