Let's say we had 1:5 dilution of 1ml of some buffer, and 4ml of water.
Then we had 1:25 dilution, 1ml of that same buffer and 24ml of water.
Would the buffer capacity decrease or remain the same and why?
what about the buffer capacity of the buffer, wouldn't it decrease because of the concentration?
Like let's say we had sodium acetate/acetic acid buffer in that 1ml, and we mixed 5ml of 0.05M HCl into that 1:25 dilution, would it sustain the same amount of HCl if it was in 1:5 dilution?
