I have been to many lounges and "the scene" bars which play a rotation of recorded hip hop music. This is dj mixed music and not mixed radio rap. It's not trip-hop. I guess the best way I can describe it is excellent mixed indie hip-hop. I've listened to many of the most known dj's and just can't find what I'm looking for.
I have Rhapsody so I have access to a tremendous amount of artists, I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I see the bartenders playing their music from their laptop most of the time. I've asked a couple of times and got "just some different stuff, it's great isn't it?" So no answer to the question.
