Practices of Legal Dog Fighting?
I'm writing a paper on dog fighting and how it led to Pit Bulls being the most hated dog breed today. What would really help me is if I could compare current dog fighting practices to those in the colonial and victorian times when dog fighting wasn't illegal. I expect that it was at least slightly more controlled and the dogs were treated better. However I can;t put it in with out a source.
Please let me know what you think and if you could link a website that would be great.
What im looking for is how the dogs are treated pre and post fight. for instance if the dogs were killed or abused in victorian times or if they were kept in homes and actually commended for their actions rather than used as a source of money.
