How well does the Samsung Omnia work?

I'm deciding which kind of verizon phone to get and i recently saw the samsung omnia and liked it. the only thing is, i have heard that samsung phones aren't the greatest. Anyone have any feedback about this phone or samsungs in general? Pros, cons? I just want to make sure i'm getting a good phone! Thanks!
