How well do you bond with an unborn baby if you don't find out the sex beforehand?

Hi! I'm curious to know if you think finding out the sex of your baby before it's born helps you to bond with it before birth? I have a few friends who are pregnant. One knows she is having a girl, the other two waiting to be surprised. I always thought knowing what it was would be better, but lately I started to think having the surprise would be more fun. But then do you bond so well during those 9 months with little baby X? Thanks!
People have said that they feel the pregnancy becomes so much more "real" for them once they find out what the baby is going to be.

Oh princess even penguins bond and they don't know the sex of their offspring.
The only benefit in knowing is you can buy for a boy or a girl.

It's a surprise no matter when you find out!

I think being prepared for a girl or a boy helps you adjust to the idea beforehand.
