If the government want to be more green, they should give incentives to the working man to make his house greener by reducing taxes on things like home improvements, and ensuring that greener energy alternatives are made available. Surprisingly, most villages in Great Britain (mine included) still don't even get supplied with gas. How backwards is that?
Last winter, to keep warm, I burnt more coal and wood on my open fire than I've ever burned. I bought a nice new chainsaw, and sawed up half of the trees in Lincolnshire.
