how you handle your children's schooling?
I did not have a pleasant school experience. I was bullied, I had teachers that were apathetic, and our books were falling apart. They cut out sports one year because no one wanted to pay a few more dollars a year in taxes, even though I lived in a well off community. Unfortunately, my family was not one of the wealthier people. There weren't many opportunities at my school for extra curricular activities. As a result I am disillusioned with public school and I homeschool. My husband on the other hand had a good school experience and can't even comprehend where I'm coming from when I tell him stories about some things that happened in my school. He supports me homeschooling, but he'd also be fine if they went to school. I'm just giving my personal example, not asking for opinions on homeschooling. I'm just wondering what kind of experiences you had and if you think it affects how you view and react to your kid's experiences.
