how was the orion constellation formed according to greek mythology?

According to Ovid, a scorpion stung Orion and it killed him. He was a Hunter and Artemis, the Huntress, placed him in the heavens as the constellation which still bears his name.

Orion is in the sky every night.

im not sure how it was formed, but you can usually see it all year round, its one of those constellations where there never gone, unlike the seasonal zodiac signs
