Thanks again all my buddies...
I also hope that the neuro gets the exception from my insurance company...as this appears to be the only specialist in SI joint problems in our area...we don't have a lot of options.. Can only hope...he did say he loves to mess with the insurance companies....
I did briefly mention to the neuro. about the pain managemetn dr. Not too much...but about the meRAB. and taking less...also the medication holiday. The neuro...says oh he is such a nice guy..????(at times maybe..but not about my meRAB...scares me)...why don't you tell him about your concerns...etc...YIKES... ) The neuro. thinks I am taking a lot of med. for my pain...4 and sometimes 3 oxycodone 10/325 pills a day... Is that a lot??
I am trying to cut down this weekend...feel almost obligated to do so...We shall see...
Have a good weekend...thanks for all your concern...
Talk later!!!

Sage, why does it sound so familiar to me? I guess it happens all over, unfortunatelly.
I will tell you one thing happened to me last week. I saw Neurologist and he said I need MRI and CT done. After app. I payed my co-pay,got receipt and we went home (takes almost 2 hours to get there).
Couple of days go on and I called to find out when will I have those tests done (usually they schedule them for you in that office).
She said to me: "Oh, you left and I forgot to give you instructions where to call and schedule it for yourself".
OK, I understand, I can call myself. But if you admitting to me that you forgot to give me instructions, why didn't you call and gave me them over the phone? If I wouldn't call them again - would she ever schedule it for me? Would she ever send them for me by mail? I doubt.
I learn we have to be our own advocates and be on top of everything.
Thank God we are still young and can remeraber things and can take care of our neeRAB, but how about older people, people with different memory problems? I do feel bad for them.

Good luck to you, Leslie. Hopefuly you will get a good test results at least.:)
