Those of you that have a GPS on your phone, is it any good? Do you use it often? What drawbacks come to mind?

I'm curious if it's a worthwhile premium, or just a marketing ploy.

Phone models I'm considering are the E90 and N95.

Thanks! :)

Guess people don't use the GPS on their cell phones...

Using GPS on a cell phone varies with each person. I use it on my 8925, as well as Google Maps, because I tend to travel a bit. The built-in GPS on the N95 is decent. It's just that it doesn't lock on as quickly as stand-alone GPS receivers. If that is the case for you, then just get a stand-alone GPS receiver.

Don't use it much, because it's kind of expensive for me to use it, because internet fees are very high. It's useful though

Thanks for your replies! I'm starting to sense this is not a good investment, or not something I should expect to work well in a cell phone at this time.

A.

It's a lot of fun, but i costs a lot to use it. If really need GPS for your job or whatever, it's nice to have it

Many phones (including my phone Treo 775P) claim GPS, yet needs a receiver to function???
So, I plan to buy a bluetooth keychain GPS unit to pair with my phone.
And, I plan to use it alot. I get lost all the time.
I have unlimited internet, so fees are not an issue.
