How unusual is my 4yr old ginger tom cat Tigs? He regularly comes camping with me and...

...my dog.? He is best friends with my female jack russell, When we are not near main roads, he comes for a walk with the dog. Recently I was pet sitting for a friend and I had 2 dogs and 2 cats on the field. I did worry at first but he returns when I call him. How unusual is this? He has been all over the UK

ha ha great story! but i wouldn't look at it as unusual i would look at it as a great skill that Tigs has.

Very unusual, but extremely cool. hes had a very cool life which is more then most cats can say.

We used to have a cat called Chloe, she would mega sulk if we didnt take her to the park with the dogs, she would jump in the car and run off with them..

Everyone saw our pack of dogs chasing her and thought omg shes been attacked as she gave in and let em all crowd round her.. We became so well known in the park people would come to see us.. we at first had people offering to take her.. i said nooooooo shes best friends with the dgos and sleeps with them and she would sit on our collies back and ride the dogs back to the car lol..

I have been in what the British refer to as caravan parks and plenty of owners travel with their pets in Canada and the USA. Some of these people travel year round.
And the most amazing thing; these animals never seem to wander off like house pets do. Rather odd when you consider that their owners pickup and move every few weeks.
