use a compressor program like winRAR or 7z. winRAR is quite common and zips to .rar files. 7z is less common but compresses more and zips to .7z files.

It's actually really easy to zip a file of images.

1. Make a normal folder on your desktop or something and call it "Pictures".
2. Copy the pictures you want to compress into a zip file and place them in folder.
3. Right click on the folder >> send to >> compressed filed [the computer will then compress it]
4. You will see another folder appear with what looks like a zipper over the folder.
5. Upload and wah lah.

Most image files (such as JPEG, GIF, and PNG) are already as compressed as they can be. You can use a compression program like Winzip, Winrar, or 7z, but it will have little or no effect.

JPEG provides the most compression, since you can set the quality lower, which loses detail.

If you are trying to email photos taken with a digital camera, you may want to save a lower-resolution copy, e.g. reduce the resolution from 3000x2000 to 1000x800. That will reduce the size tremendously. Of course the recipient isn't getting all the detail in the original file.

you need a ujnzip foler like 7z or you can unzip them from clicking the left window where it says extract files
or you can simply copy those files without unziping them!!!
